Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

“Sabiqu” (the “App”) is an app by Maalem Tours. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App and the sabequ.com website. For privacy questions: support@sabequ.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: your email address, your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google, and the display name you choose.

Your activity in the App: the halls you join, challenges you take part in, counter and daily check-in entries, your private wird, messages and polls inside halls, and abuse reports.

Notification settings: reminder time, quiet hours, time zone, and the device token needed to deliver notifications (when enabled).

Verification documents: if you request verification for your hall, the files you upload are stored in a private space that only the platform team can access.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts or payment data.

3. How we use data

To run the App and provide the service (account, halls, challenges, ranking), to send the reminders and notifications you choose, to review verification requests, to handle reports and protect the platform from abuse, and to keep it secure and stable.

4. Privacy inside halls

The leaderboard and charts show anonymous names such as “Anonymous participant 3” to every member, including the hall manager. Your individual entries and private wird are readable only by you. Messages you write in a hall chat are visible to that hall’s members under your display name.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. We use service providers only to operate the App:

Supabase: database, authentication and file storage hosting.

Google: Google sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications (when enabled).

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect users’ safety.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time on the Delete account page; we complete it within 30 days at most. We may keep limited records where the law requires it or to prevent abuse.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct and request deletion of your data, and withdraw notification consent in the App or device settings. To exercise any right, write to support@sabequ.com.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, access rules that prevent any user from reading another user’s data, and restricted admin permissions with an audit log. No method is 100% secure, so please protect your account.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child created an account, contact us to delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the last-updated date is shown above and we will notify users of material changes.
